Job Description
Home Health Aide (HHA) Job Position - Female experienced with hospice patients
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and daily living assistance to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will support the client’s health, comfort, and overall well-being while maintaining dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Support with feeding and ensure proper nutrition as needed
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition
- Provide medication reminders as directed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and maintaining a clean environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Follow the established care plan and agency guidelines
Qualifications
- Must have experience with paraplegia clients
- Ability to treat clients with dignity, respect, and compassion
- Experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic personal care and safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to lift and assist clients when needed
- Valid driver’s license and transportation preferred
