Job Description:

2nd Shift Lead – Parcel Operations (Monday – Friday)

Manage warehouse and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational, personnel, and safety policies and procedures to ensure efficient and compliant parcel operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee receiving, warehouse, parcel, and distribution operations.
  • Manage daily parcel shipping operations, including FedEx, UPS, and other small package carriers.
  • Ensure timely processing, sorting, scanning, and shipment of parcel orders while meeting service level requirements.
  • Maintain warehouse staff by motivating, training, developing, and supervising team members and supervisors.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and service metrics and provide regular operational reports.
  • Position will require flexibility
  • Maintain a strong sense of urgency regarding safety training, compliance, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in warehouse, distribution, and parcel operations required.
  • Strong knowledge of parcel shipping processes, including FedEx and UPS systems and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of computers, handheld scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to generate, analyze, and distribute operational reports.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to send professional emails and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven leadership experience in supervising, training, and developing warehouse associates.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual a plus

Tuesday 1:45pm - 10:15 pm

Wednesday 1:45pm - 10:15 pm

Thursday 1:45pm - 10:15 pm

Friday 1:45pm - 10:15 pm
