DRIVER - OUTREACH TRANSPORT in CANTON, Ohio at Aultman Health Foundation

BREIEF SUMMARY OF POSTION

Outreach drivers provide transportation for our Amish Community to various Aultman facilities in Stark and neighboring counties. The driver will work various days and hours Monday through Friday. This schedule will vary on scheduled rides and the driver’s availability. The driver will input his/her availability at the beginning of each month. Occasionally last-minute rides are requested, and the driver will have the opportunity to fill in and work extra. The driver will be assigned days on which they will receive assignments. The driver will then calculate his/her routes and pick up times based on the customer's appointment.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFACATIONS

• Have a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• A good driving record and insurable.
• The ability to start the shift as early as 4:00AM when needed.
• Be able to drive a (12) passenger van with passengers.
• Be able to locate and navigate to the customers’ residence in a rural area.
• Use a road map when needed.
• Be able to receive Email and download the daily schedule that is an Excel Spread sheet.
• The driver needs to be able to plan his/her daily routes and pick up times. Picking up multiple patients at different locations and making their appointment times.
• Be able to assist older or disabled customers into the van.
• Be able to drive at least (2) hours without a break.
• If the candidate works another job, this position may not be for you.
