Senior Associate in Marietta, Georgia at Manay CPA

Prepares and record journal entries and perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and perform account analysis and variance explanations. Prepare documentation for federal, state, and local tax filings, including gathering, organizing, and analyzing financial data required for tax compliance. Assist with audit activities by preparing documentation, workpapers, and supporting schedules, and explanations for internal and external audits. Complete accounting tasks related to multi-entity operations, including preparation of intercompany transaction support schedules and reconciliations. Support financial reporting processes involving international operations by preparing schedules related to currency translation and consolidated reporting, including reviewing financial data prepared under Turkish GAAP and IFRS, supporting reconciliation to U.S. GAAP reporting requirements. Telecommuting permitted: employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Marietta, Georgia.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (or foreign equivalent) and two (2) years of related accounting experience, including experience with U.S., Turkish GAAP, and IFRS standards, assessments of financial statements and internal controls, and evaluation of compliance and risk management processes. Fluency in Turkish language required.
