Job Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required plus 2+ years of experience in accounting is preferred. Construction industry experience and CPA a plus.
- Reviewing general ledger accounts and preparing and adjusting journal entries. Performing account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and general ledger accounts. Maintaining general ledger charts of accounts. Assisting with all internal control compliance processes. Maintaining fixed assets. Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals. Working with external financial auditors. Reviewing and reconciling accounts receivable ledger.Assisting with job budgets and contract schedules.Assisting with financial reporting requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to work in a small team-oriented environment. Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability with regards to business ethics standards. Ability to meet internal accounting deadlines and due dates. Experience with PeopleSoft Oracle software applications a plus. Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
