LPN Telephone Triage Nurse - In Office, onsite position. This telephone triage nurse position is an In-Office position at our Rolesville location. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are a valued resource for our clinical team of providers and support staff. You will provide guidance to assure our patients receive the best quality care using evidence-based guidelines. Essential Duties for a Telephone Triage Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Telephone triage advice Prescription Refill request Web Nurse Messages Processing and returning phone calls to patients per provider request Collaborate with specialist, hospitals and other external entities to coordinate patient care Opportunities to expand expertise as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Coordination of specialty programs - Behavioral Health, Asthma, Population Management, and Vaccine Management Leadership opportunity as a resource nurse and trainers Practice wide committee involvement Qualifications *Valid LPN license in the state of North Carolina *Proficient in patient assessment and care *Knowledge of EHR systems and HIPAA regulations *Basic life support certification required *Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations Benefits Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, referral program, flexible schedule. __________________________________________________________________ JMA Pediatrics conducts criminal background checks on all applicants prior to hire.
