This role is a unique opportunity to help shape a new generation of web-based migration tools used by IT professionals worldwide. You will join a greenfield initiative focused on building a modern web application for Microsoft 365 migration, with a strong emphasis on simplicity, performance, and user experience. Working in a highly collaborative, product-driven environment, you will contribute to both frontend and backend development while helping define the technical foundations of the product. This is a hands-on role where architecture, experimentation, and rapid iteration are key to success. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build intuitive solutions that solve real customer challenges. With a strong culture of ownership and AI-assisted development, this position is ideal for engineers who want to build impactful products from the ground up.
- Design, build, and deliver full-stack features for a new web application supporting Microsoft 365 migration workflows.
- Contribute to defining the technical architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices from the ground up.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to create simple, intuitive, and user-focused experiences.
- Integrate and maintain Microsoft APIs (such as Microsoft Graph, Azure AD/Entra ID, and MSAL) to ensure secure and reliable authentication and migration flows.
- Establish and promote high-quality engineering practices, including automated testing and code quality standards.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of team engineering practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity, experimentation, and software quality.
- 4+ years of experience delivering commercial software products with strong customer adoption.
- Strong experience with modern web development using TypeScript and React.
- Solid backend development experience using C# / .NET.
- Familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude or similar).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex and ambiguous technical challenges.
- Experience working with Microsoft APIs (Microsoft Graph, Azure AD/Entra ID, MSAL) is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, accountable, and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, experimental, and product-focused environment.
- Competitive salary range of 100,000 – 130,000 CAD based on experience and location.
