Purpose of the Position
The Electrical Engineer will take full technical ownership of electronics development for Kistler’s sensor and instrumentation product portfolio. This includes schematic design, PCB layout, simulation, prototyping, testing, and compliance for both analog and digital systems.

Requirements Profile
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field, from an accredited four-year college.4-7 years of experience in instrument design or transducer electronics design.Extensive experience in design, manufacture, and testing of electronic instrumentation including analog and digital systems.Knowledge of compliance requirements related to restrictions on hazardous substances preferred. RoHS, Reach, PFAS, etcExperience with AS9100 requirements.Familiarity with CAE for circuit synthesis and analysis, Altium preferred.Ability to use Labview and TestStand preferred. Experience in problem identification and corrective action.Good written and verbal communication skills.Strong project management skills.Background in transducer electronics or sensor-based instrumentation a plus.Travel up to 5%Physical Requirements: Ability to sit at a workstation up to 60% of the workday; stand and walk up to 30%; manual dexterity 10%.
