Pay Range

$45,000.00-$61,800.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist 2 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the overall efficiency of our inventory management system. This role requires a higher level of expertise and experience compared to entry-level positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of products and materials.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Record and update inventory data in the inventory management system.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing incoming shipments.
  • Prepare and process orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address inventory-related issues and support production needs.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures.
  • Train and mentor junior inventory staff.

Minimal Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in inventory management or related fields.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced inventory management software.
  • Familiarity with lean inventory practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing for extended periods of time
