Who You Are:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong positive attitude towards customer service to act as a Certified Medication Technician for our Assisted Living and Memory Care building. This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric. The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible, to be creative and to work towards accomplishing facility goals.

Position Summary:

The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) assists with administering medications under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse per physician orders. Performs delegated duties, including activities of daily living and basic nursing care procedures for our residents. Performs all assignments with honesty, integrity, and care that promote the mission, vision, and values of Friendship Village

Requirements:

• Successful completion of State approved Medication Technician Course.
• High School or GED Degree required.
• Active CMT License.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to document care given.
