Job Description

Principal, Technical Partnerships (Security & Compliance)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal, Technical Partnerships (Security & Compliance) based in United States.

This is a senior, high-impact partnerships role focused on building and scaling strategic technical integrations within the security and compliance ecosystem. The position sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market, driving end-to-end partnership execution from initial agreement through integration and customer adoption. You will define joint value propositions with leading security and IT vendors and ensure those collaborations translate into meaningful, revenue-generating product capabilities. The role requires strong technical fluency to evaluate APIs, scope integrations, and align engineering teams across organizations. You will operate across executive and technical stakeholders, influencing decisions from C-level leadership to product and engineering teams. This is a highly cross-functional role in a fast-moving, globally distributed environment where speed, ownership, and execution quality are critical.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships across product, engineering, and executive stakeholders at strategic partner organizations.
  • Own the full lifecycle of technical partnerships from agreement through integration delivery and customer-facing launch.
  • Define and align joint value propositions, solution narratives, and integration success metrics with partner teams.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Scope, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of product integrations in partnership with external engineering teams.
  • Establish operational frameworks for partnerships, including governance, timelines, and success measurement criteria.
  • Partner with Marketing on joint go-to-market activities, including co-marketing campaigns, announcements, and launch execution.
  • Transition commercial ownership to GTM teams post-integration while maintaining strategic oversight of long-term partner success.
Requirements:
  • 7–10 years of experience in technical partnerships, alliances, business development, or related roles in security, compliance, or IT sectors.
  • Strong technical fluency with the ability to evaluate APIs, integration feasibility, and product architecture without translation.
  • Proven ability to operate across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing functions with credibility at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of the security and compliance ecosystem, including SIEM, EDR, CASB, DLP, GRC, or adjacent technologies.
  • Prior experience as a technical product manager, solutions architect, engineering leader, or similar role is highly preferred.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage both C-level stakeholders and technical teams effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive partnerships from concept through execution and measurable customer impact.
  • High ownership mindset with strong bias for action and ability to make pragmatic trade-offs in fast-paced environments.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote-first role with flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with senior-level responsibility.
  • Comprehensive health benefits and 401(k) with employer match.
  • Unlimited paid time off to support work-life balance.
  • Company-issued laptop (Mac or PC choice).
  • Professional development budget and ongoing career growth opportunities.
  • High-impact role shaping strategic integrations in the security and compliance ecosystem.
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven environment with strong cross-functional exposure.
