Especialista DevOps
Accountabilities:
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Especialista DevOps based in Brazil.
This role is designed for a highly skilled DevOps professional who will drive the evolution of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native platforms. You will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast and reliable software delivery across multiple environments. The position requires close collaboration with development, security, and operations teams to ensure robust engineering practices and continuous improvement. You will contribute to architecture decisions, platform reliability, and automation strategies that directly impact business performance and system resilience. Working in a fast-paced and innovative environment, you will also act as a technical reference, helping teams adopt best practices in DevOps and DevSecOps. This is a strategic role where engineering excellence, security, and scalability converge.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices and tools.
- Automate build, test, validation, and deployment processes across multiple environments to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (or equivalent orchestration platforms such as AKS, EKS, GKE, or OpenShift).
- Integrate DevSecOps practices into pipelines, including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance controls.
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of production systems and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate in defining cloud architecture strategies, including resilience, disaster recovery, and scalability planning.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Evaluate, adopt, and integrate new DevOps tools and technologies to improve engineering productivity and platform maturity.
- Strong experience in software engineering and DevOps practices, with deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline development (YAML-based workflows).
- Solid hands-on experience with Git, including branching strategies, versioning, and release management.
- Advanced knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes or equivalents).
- Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub, including Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, including security integration into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or Splunk).
- Ability to define and track reliability and delivery metrics such as DORA metrics, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
- Strong communication skills with ability to act as a technical reference and mentor for engineering teams.
- Experience in platform engineering, high availability design, and disaster recovery strategies is a plus.
- Certifications in Kubernetes, Azure, Terraform, or DevOps methodologies are highly desirable.
