Job Description
Corporate Payroll Manager
We are seeking a payroll fanatic to join our payroll team as a Corporate Payroll Manager. This is a hybrid position reporting to our Corporate Office in Alpharetta, GA. In this vital role, you will oversee the end-to- end payroll process ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees. This position will work closely with Human Resources, Payroll Vendor and our Benefits Carriers.
Duties:
Payroll Operations
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple entities and pay groups.
Process regular payrolls, off-cycle payrolls, bonus payments, retroactive pay, and termination checks.
Review payroll calculations including overtime, premiums, incentives, taxable benefits, garnishments, and deductions.
Manage payroll funding and payroll processing schedules.
ADP Workforce Now Payroll Administration.Serve as system administrator for ADP Payroll.
Maintain payroll earnings, deductions, taxes, pay groups, and payroll business processes.
Partner with vendors and consultants to resolve payroll system issues.
Compliance & Audits
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including California, Washington wage and hour laws.
Oversee payroll tax reporting and regulatory compliance.
Lead payroll-related audits, including financial statement and workers' compensation audits.
Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Reporting & Financial Partnership
Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and workforce analytics.
Partner with Finance on payroll accounting, labor reporting, accruals, and budgeting.
Analyze payroll data and recommend operational improvements.
Leadership
Train and mentor payroll and HR staff.
Enforce company initiative such as managing overtime, meal attestations, etc.
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex payroll issues.
Required skills / abilities:
Advanced working knowledge of payroll/personnel, wage and labor, and tax administration
Ability to solve problems, exercise sound judgment in planning, scheduling and completing assignments in an independent manner based on policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of governmental accounting standards
Education / experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• HRIS experience; ADP Workforce Now compensation and benefits experience preferred

Same Day Pay
The salary range for this position is $695,000 to $75,000 annually.
