Schedule: Full-Time | Hours TBD
$25–$35/hour + $3,000 Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Assistance Available

What You'll Do

As a Neurology Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in advanced neurological diagnostics and surgery while working closely with board-certified neurologists and anesthesiologists.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor anesthesia during MRI procedures and neurosurgical cases

  • Perform venipuncture, blood collection, laboratory sample collection, and IV catheter placement

  • Admit and discharge neurology and surgical patients

  • Administer medications as directed by veterinarians

  • Prepare treatment plans and client estimates

  • Collect payments and support the discharge process

  • Assist with neurology consultations, outpatient appointments, and rechecks

  • Perform anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery

  • Perform endotracheal intubation

  • Scrub into neurosurgical procedures

  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments

  • Calculate and administer medications (IV, IM, SQ)

  • Deliver compassionate, professional client communication

  • Maintain accurate medical records

What We're Looking ForMinimum Qualifications
  • Registered, Certified, or Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT), or eligible for Colorado registration

  • Minimum 2 years of veterinary technician experience in surgery

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced specialty hospital

Preferred Qualifications
  • Emergency or Specialty Veterinary Hospital experience

  • MRI or CT anesthesia experience

  • Advanced anesthesia monitoring experience

  • Experience with electronic medical records

  • Ability to anticipate patient and department needs while managing multiple priorities
