Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: US Beverage Packers West LLC
Reports To: Engineering & Technical Support Manager
Department: 250- Facilities
FLSA Status: Hourly
Job Summary
The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall condition, functionality, and operational readiness of the facility, including production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, and exterior grounds. This role performs a wide range of maintenance, repair, installation, and facility support tasks to ensure the plant remains safe efficient, and fully operational.
The Facilities Technician plays a key role in supporting ongoing facility improvements, equipment installations, and site upkeep, including structural work, racking systems, and grounds maintenance. This position requires strong mechanical ability, a high level of physical capability, and the flexibility to support daily operations and expansion projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Communicate facility issues, repair needs, and project updates to leadership.
- Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to support operations.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.
- Maintain a professional, accountable, and team-oriented work approach.
5. Technical / Job-Specific Skills
- Ability to perform maintenance and repair work across multiple trades, including mechanical, structural, and basic electrical and plumbing.
- Experience assembling and installing racking systems and facility structures.
- Ability to safely operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, powered industrial equipment, and operate at elevated heights.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to complete work orders and maintain maintenance records accurately.
- Support facility expansions, reconfigurations, and improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 2+ years of facility maintenance, construction, or general maintenance experience e preferred.
- Certifications: Forklift certification preferred; scissor lift certification a plus.
- Other Requirements: Ability to perform physically demanding work, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs. or more as required.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and conditions.
- Exposure to noise, machinery, construction environments, and maintenance-related hazards.
- Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hair nets, and beard nets
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
