Responsibilities
2nd Shift - Monday-Friday - 2:15 pm - 10:45 pm - Training on 1st Shift may be required
Starting Pay Rate: $28.60/hr
Pay Grade NEX16

Now hiring a Group Leader for our Injection Molding Department at our Murrysville, PA manufacturing plant. In this role you will be counted on for the following activities:
- Supports production associates with various types of work, including moving material, assisting with setting up jobs, picking material, and performing related tasks.
- Performs manufacturing operations for products or associates as needed.
- Works with Production Supervisor and Supply Chain Specialists (if applicable) to determine priorities.
- Creates and maintains assigned job schedules.
- Communicates/coordinates parts shortages, equipment issues (any resource inhibiting production) to appropriate areas & assists with resolution.
- Communicates effectively and coordinates work activities within department or work cells to ensure highest productivity.
- Facilitates the flow of materials, components and paperwork among and within departments to ensure conformance to production schedules.
- Assists with monitoring performance.
- Monitors compliance to all company policies, procedures, standards and goals and notifies Production Supervisor of any issues or concerns.
- Appropriately addresses issues with associates as needed.
- Maintains and orders non-production departmental supplies.
Qualifications
Education and experience required:
- High School diploma.
- 2 years production / manufacturing experience.
- Ability to:
- infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance.
- plan, schedule, coordinate work and organize daily activities.
- act independently, take personal initiative, and follow through to completion.
- demonstrate initiative and willingness to do more than the minimum required.

Education and experience preferred:
- 4 years of production/manufacturing experience.
- Previous group leader and/or supervisory experience.
- Holds current or prior certification within the Injection Molding area.
- Training experience.
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office.
