Certified Public Accountant in Albuquerque, New Mexico at J&H Services, Inc.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced In-House Accountant to join our dynamic multi-entity construction organization. The ideal candidate will manage accounting functions across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and smooth financial operations to support our company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee accounting activities for multiple company entities.

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

- Reconcile accounts and review financial transactions for accuracy.

- Assist with payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable processes.

- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.

- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting systems.

- Collaborate with project managers and leadership on budgeting and financial planning.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in construction or multi-entity organizations.

- Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple entities and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
