Position OverviewSlows Bar-B-Q is looking for energetic, detail-oriented Part-Time Banquet Servers to join our catering and events team. With primarily weekend and evening shifts tied to weddings, corporate gatherings, and community celebrations, we offer the flexibility to work around your primary career or school schedule.What You'll Do (Responsibilities)Set up and tear down event spaces (tables, buffet lines, equipment).Welcome guests with warm hospitality and answer questions about our menu.Serve food, replenish buffets, clear plates, and manage trash throughout the event.Collaborate with event captains and kitchen staff to keep the party running smoothly.Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in catering, banquets, or restaurant service is a plus, but we are absolutely willing to train anyone with a great attitude and strong work ethic. Availability: we cater lunches and dinners, weekdays and weekends. Make yourself available for the events that fit your schedule. Physical Ability: Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs. Traits: Punctual, reliable, professional appearance, and a team-first mindset. Slows also has a food truck and runs gameday stands inside Ford Field, Comerica Park, and Little Caesars Arena.
