Our established, multi-specialty practice in Smithtown, NY is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. We're seeking someone who understands the pace of a busy dental office, enjoys connecting with patients, and can confidently manage scheduling, front desk responsibilities, and patient coordination while keeping the day running smoothly.

Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday-Friday | 9AM-6PM
- Saturday | 8AM-2PM, 1-2 Saturdays per month

Our modern, multi-specialty practice serves patients throughout Smithtown, Suffolk County, and Long Island. With 9 operatories, Denticon digital charting, off-street parking, and advanced dental technology, our team is equipped to provide comprehensive care in a welcoming and efficient environment.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional check-in and check-out experience
- Answer phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and respond to patient questions
- Maintain accurate patient records and information in Denticon
- Coordinate schedules and work with the clinical team to support efficient patient flow
- Process payments and assist patients with basic insurance and financial questions
- Help communicate treatment plans, costs, and next steps to patients
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments and recommended treatment
- Support daily front-office administrative tasks while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of dental office/front desk experience required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, scheduling, insurance, and patient coordination
- Comfortable communicating with patients about treatment and financial information
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy dental environment
- Professional, dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
- Dental software experience required; Denticon experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
