Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Strategic Fintech Solutions Specialist based in the United States.
This role serves as the dedicated Fintech commercial partner for a portfolio of high-value global enterprise accounts.
You’ll own relationships end to end, from competitive proposals and executive pitches through expansion and long-term account growth.
The position combines commercial strategy, payments expertise, data analysis, and executive-level relationship management.
You’ll use payment performance data to identify opportunities, build compelling business cases, and influence strategic decisions.
You’ll collaborate closely with sales, strategic accounts, customer experience, and product teams to solve complex challenges and expand adoption.
A significant focus will be placed on leveraging AI to transform account data into actionable insights, executive narratives, and commercial recommendations.
This is an autonomous, high-impact opportunity in a fast-moving, remote-first environment where curiosity, resilience, and ownership are highly valued.
- Own the full Fintech commercial relationship for a portfolio of strategic global enterprise accounts, from pre-signature RFPs and executive presentations through post-signature expansion and relationship management.
- Develop tailored commercial proposals, business cases, executive presentations, quarterly business reviews, and annual account reviews.
- Analyze and communicate key payment KPIs, including transaction volume, fee composition, chargebacks, multi-currency revenue, and revenue-share performance, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Identify and drive adoption of additional Fintech products and capabilities, including multi-currency solutions and accounts receivable, to increase customer value and share of wallet.
- Partner with Strategic Accounts, Sales, Customer Experience, and Product teams to resolve complex Fintech challenges and identify opportunities for account growth.
- Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and confidently communicate commercial recommendations to C-suite and board-level stakeholders.
- Use AI-powered tools and systems to transform raw account and payment data into executive-ready insights, KPI narratives, and commercial recommendations.
- Help configure, improve, and evolve AI-enabled analysis and reporting workflows rather than simply consuming their outputs.
- Stay informed on developments across payments, Fintech, and adjacent financial products to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
- 6–8+ years of commercial experience selling or supporting payments and Fintech solutions, with demonstrated ownership of enterprise-level deals.
- Proven experience working directly with globally recognized brands or customers processing $100M+ annually in payment volume, including experience negotiating commercial terms and pricing.
- Broad Fintech expertise extending beyond payment processing, ideally including areas such as lending, banking products, or card issuing.
- Strong understanding of payment performance metrics, including transaction volumes, fees, chargebacks, and multi-currency revenue.
- Confidence presenting complex commercial and payment insights to C-suite and board-level audiences.
- AI Fluency Level 4 or equivalent hands-on experience building, configuring, or shaping AI-powered analysis, reporting, or workflow automation tools.
- Strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, and ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- High degree of autonomy, ownership, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, product, customer experience, and strategic account functions.
- Experience selling payments to software platforms, ISVs, or SaaS businesses is preferred.
- Experience at a large or recognized payments or Fintech organization is a plus.
- Hospitality industry experience is advantageous.
- Competitive compensation: The advertised range is £85,000–£102,000 GBP for the UK market; compensation varies by location and applicable market.

- Work-from-anywhere flexibility: Ability to work remotely with opportunities to work abroad for several weeks each year.
- Relocation support: Relocation options available after one year.
- Flexible working: Remote-first and flexible hybrid working options.
- Home office support: Home office setup budget plus a monthly work-from-home allowance.
- AI productivity tools: Access to Claude tokens to automate workflows and develop more efficient ways of working.
- Location-specific benefits: Additional benefits may include healthcare, retirement plans, team events, social activities, and other local perks.
