Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, development, and implementation of Nutrition Services including oral, enteral, and parenteral nutrition support for inpatients and nutrition education for outpatients and employees.
- Responsible for departmental quality assurance monitoring and reporting.
- Responsible for maintaining the CBORD Computerized Diet Office system. Supervises Clinical Dietitians and Dietary Assistants.
- Has direct care with infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), registered by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND).
- Current licensure status with the Board of Dietetics for the State of South Carolina.
- Progressive, innovative individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least three years' clinical dietetics experience, preferable in an acute care facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong management and organizational skills with managerial experience preferred.
- Master’s degree in dietetics or nutrition preferred
