Magnolia Plumbing, Inc. is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our Install Department. We are looking for motivated professionals with strong technical skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in commercial environments throughout the Washington, DC area. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting a wide range of commercial HVAC systems while maintaining high-quality workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.
A $5,000 signing bonus is available for qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues.
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service at all times.
- Maintain proper truck stock and inventory levels.
- Keep company vehicles clean and follow maintenance schedules.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards on all job sites.
- Identify opportunities to improve service quality and customer experience.
- 5–10 years of commercial HVAC installation experience.
- EPA/CFC Certification required.
- Journeyman HVAC License and Gasfitter License required
- Experience working with boilers, cooling towers, dry coolers, hydronic systems, water source heat pumps, and Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems.
- Experience with basic controls and low-voltage troubleshooting.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Professional attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance.
- Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced commercial environments.
