This role is well suited for professionals who thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven, and fast-paced environment with strong growth potential.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive the expansion of DMC services by developing relationships with both existing clients and prospective customers across the clinical research industry.
  • Lead business development activities including discovery meetings, solution design, pricing discussions, proposal preparation, bid defense presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Identify market trends, competitive developments, and emerging client needs within the DMC landscape to support strategic growth initiatives.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of service offerings and align solutions with client business challenges and operational requirements.
  • Generate new business opportunities through outreach activities such as cold calling, email campaigns, conferences, webinars, and industry networking events.
  • Utilize CRM tools, including Salesforce, to manage sales pipelines, account activities, communications, and reporting effectively.
  • Support field marketing initiatives and represent the organization at conferences, customer events, and industry presentations.
  • Manage travel and expenses responsibly while maintaining a high level of client engagement.
  • Travel regularly within the role, approximately 40% to 60% of the time.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within the life sciences or clinical research industry.
  • Strong understanding of Data Monitoring Committee (DMC) processes, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
  • Solid knowledge of the clinical research ecosystem, particularly study participant protection and human research oversight.
  • Proven ability to build and execute territory plans and key account growth strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and consultative selling skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to identify customer needs and align them with tailored solutions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.com.
  • Self-motivated and highly effective in a remote working environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $160,000 depending on experience, skills, and location.
  • Eligibility for performance-based variable bonus compensation.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage and wellness benefits.
  • Paid holidays and additional paid time off offerings.
  • Fully remote work opportunity within the United States.
  • Exposure to a mission-driven industry focused on advancing clinical research and improving patient outcomes.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, networking, and industry visibility through conferences and events.
  • Collaborative and inclusive work culture that values innovation, ethics, and teamwork.
