Senior Maintenance Technician in Tipp City, Ohio at Gardens Alive

Qualified candidates are experienced in warehouse environments to include repairs and maintenance of packaging equipment, machine & equipment repairs, completion of work orders assigned, maintaining equipment through preventative maintenance, anticipating and recognizing safety and production issues, grounds and utility systems.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• HVAC, sewage and gas systems repairs & maintenance
• Electrical work to include up to 440 3-phase
• Installation, repairs and PM of production machinery & equipment
• Boiler system repairs & maintenance
• Troubleshoot and repair motor controls (Relay Logics)
• Read and comprehend electrical schematics, blueprints and parts breakdowns
• PLC and HMI troubleshooting
• Generator repairs & maintenance
• Greenhouse maintenance
• General grounds and facility maintenance

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong mechanical aptitude including welding & basic plumbing skills, strong HVAC aptitude, basic hydraulic/pneumatic and troubleshooting skills. Strong electrical aptitude
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Strong background in safety within an industrial working environment
• Familiar with OSHA requirements and safe work practices
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Has the ability to build positive relationships across departments and actively contributes to a supportive team culture

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of technical schooling/certification or 3+ years of equivalent professional work experience with proven track record and reliable work history
• Valid driver license required

Physical Requirements·

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, or squat on a continuous basis
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions
