Location: Home office in Prague, Oklahoma (Travel required throughout Oklahoma and surrounding states)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $17–$25/hour, DOE

POSITION SUMMARY
The Field Survey Technician is responsible for collecting accurate field data to support a wide variety of surveying and mapping projects. Working under the direction of the Director, Surveying & Geospatial and field supervisors, this position assists with topographic, construction, utility, and pipeline surveys while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Placement as a Field Survey Technician I or Field Survey Technician II will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect accurate field data using GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, and other surveying equipment.
- Assist with topographic, utility, pipeline, and construction surveys.
- Operate survey data collectors and field software.
- Perform field measurements and maintain accurate field notes and documentation.
- Assist with UAV (drone) data collection as assigned.
- Perform routine maintenance and care of survey equipment.
- Work safely in a variety of terrain and weather conditions while following all company and client safety requirements.
- Coordinate effectively with project managers, office staff, clients, and fellow team members.
- Travel throughout Oklahoma and surrounding states as project needs require.
QUALIFICATIONS
Field Survey Technician I — Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
Field Survey Technician I — Preferred
- Previous surveying, construction, utility locating, or related field experience.
- Experience performing or assisting with ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
- Experience with boundary retracement and boundary line determination.
- Basic familiarity with GNSS equipment or total stations.
- Interest in pursuing a long-term career in surveying.
Field Survey Technician II — Required
- 2+ years of surveying field experience.
- Experience operating GNSS receivers, robotic total stations, and survey data collectors.
- Ability to perform field assignments with minimal supervision.
- Strong understanding of survey procedures and field best practices.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Field Survey Technician II — Preferred
- Experience with Trimble equipment and software.
- Familiarity with Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- Experience working on pipeline, utility, transportation, or infrastructure projects.
