As a Manager of Global Development Process & Procedures Operations, you will lead cross-functional process and documentation initiatives, ensuring procedures are clearly defined, compliant, and aligned with operational goals. You will collaborate with business owners and subject matter experts to develop, improve, and maintain effective processes across global development functions.
- Lead and facilitate process and procedural development projects with document owners and subject matter experts.
- Coordinate the creation, review, revision, and approval of procedural documents and supporting materials.
- Translate operational requirements into clear process maps, workflows, and procedural documentation.
- Manage cross-functional review cycles by coordinating feedback from appropriate stakeholders.
- Ensure procedural documentation aligns with internal standards, regulatory expectations, and related processes.
- Partner with training teams to ensure required learning materials are implemented and maintained within learning management systems.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and support continuous enhancement of operational practices.
- Analyze complex scenarios, evaluate risks, and recommend effective solutions.
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across global development teams and functional areas.
- Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate is an experienced process and operations professional with a strong background in procedural development within regulated industries. You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage complex projects independently, and experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong experience writing and developing procedures within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience translating operational requirements into process maps and formal documentation.
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance processes and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working with or supporting functions such as Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Quality, or Product Complaints.
- Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global teams.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Visio.
- Experience with process design, process improvement methodologies, and procedural document management.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and strong emotional intelligence when working with diverse teams.
- Competitive annual salary range of $114,800 – $187,400.
