Busser in Royal Oak, Michigan at Kruse and Muer Restaurants

We are seeking a hardworking, dependable, and guest-focused Busser to join our front-of-house team! Bussers play an essential role in delivering exceptional dining experiences by maintaining a clean, organized dining room and supporting servers, hosts, and management to ensure efficient restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, team-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Promptly clear, clean, and reset tables according to company presentation standards.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, server stations, restrooms, and guest areas throughout each shift.

• Refill water, bread, beverages, and other guest necessities as directed.

• Assist servers by delivering food, beverages, and other items to guests when needed.

• Stock and replenish service stations with glassware, silverware, dishes, linens, ice, and other supplies.

• Remove trash, transport dishes to the dish area, and maintain clean workspaces.

• Assist with opening, closing, and side work responsibilities as assigned.

• Respond promptly to guest and team member requests while maintaining a sense of urgency.

• Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, kitchen staff, and management to support smooth service.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience is preferred, but not required.

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude with excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
