Tooling Technician 1st shift in Auburn Hills, Michigan at Amaneos US, Inc.

Title: Tooling Technician / 1st shift
Reports To: Tooling Manager

Position Summary: Ensure internal mold preventive maintenance is performed within standard.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Perform preventive maintenance to Amaneos standard.
 Support Mold Preventive Maintenance System
 Assist with coordination of external repairs and preventive maintenance.
 Perform level 2 and level 3 maintenance, self-responsible to SAP schedule.
 Document mold preventive maintenance records in SAP
 Load and unload mold to/from flatbed trucks
 Communicate with suppliers on Amaneos mold maintenance and repair standards.
 Maintain Tool Room spare part inventory.
 Promote a safe and 5S working environment.
 Promote continuous improvements.
 Support Amaneos Philosophy
 Perform tool repairs within scope of toolroom capabilities.
 Need to help troubleshooting tooling issues and assist in solutions to keep tools running properly.
 Ensure compliance with Amaneos policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to Quality.

Preferred Education and Skills:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of tool room experience or similar experience with Injection Molds
• Proficient in using lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, and saws.
• Must be able to operate an overhead crane.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Knowledge and basic skills of Hot Runner Systems
• Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word

10:00am - 6:00pm
