Are you highly organized, detail-driven, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of residents? Join our team as a Medical Records Coordinator, where your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help ensure exceptional care and compliance for every resident we serve.

In this important role, you’ll be the keeper of critical medical information—making sure records are accurate, complete, secure, and available when needed. You’ll work closely with nursing staff, physicians, leadership, and other healthcare professionals while playing a key role in supporting quality care and regulatory compliance.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with federal, state, local, and company requirements.
  • Prepare and organize resident records, admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation.
  • Monitor records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance through daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits.
  • Provide daily clinical reports, including past-due forms, clinical alerts, orders, admissions, and discharges.
  • Gather and update resident information from nursing staff, physicians, and other authorized sources.
  • Support the Nursing Department with administrative activities, audits, education, and documentation.
Requirements:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to meet applicable local health regulations.
  • Ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in Long-Term Care.
  • Experience with PointClickCare.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Healthcare or medical records experience.
