This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing AI infrastructure business and play a critical role within a sophisticated finance organization.
The Financial Controller will help drive accurate, compliant financial reporting in a dynamic public-company environment.
You will take ownership of complex accounting matters spanning revenue, infrastructure investments, financing, M&A, and multi-entity operations.
The role combines hands-on financial reporting with technical accounting, controls, audit management, and SEC disclosure responsibilities.
You will work closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Operations teams across an international organization.
Success in this role will help strengthen reporting quality, scalability, audit readiness, and financial governance as the business grows.
It is an ideal environment for an accounting professional who enjoys complexity, autonomy, and high-impact work at the intersection of finance and technology.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages for special purpose vehicles (SPVs), ensuring accurate and timely reporting under U.S. GAAP and applicable entity requirements.
- Support the consolidation of SPV results and collaborate with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal on entity-related transactions and reporting matters.
- Maintain and enhance accounting policies, controls, reconciliations, and supporting documentation, with a focus on consistency, scalability, accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Coordinate annual SPV audits with external auditors, including preparing audit support, managing PBC requests, addressing audit questions, and evaluating proposed adjustments.
- Prepare and review technical accounting memos and position papers to document and support complex accounting conclusions.
- Support SEC reporting, including preparation and review of 20-F and 6-K filings, financial statement footnotes, and related disclosures.
- Use financial reporting platforms such as Workiva or Active Disclosure to manage SEC filings and improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Partner with Legal, FP&A, Tax, and Operations to assess the accounting implications of contracts, strategic initiatives, and complex business transactions.
- Support SOX compliance and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
- Drive improvements to financial reporting processes, documentation, and operational scalability while supporting ad hoc initiatives involving capital markets, M&A, and international expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA qualification is preferred.
- 5–10 years of relevant accounting experience, including experience at a Big Four or national public accounting firm; public-company experience is strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and demonstrated experience applying accounting standards to complex transactions.
- Strong experience with SEC reporting, financial statement preparation, and disclosure requirements.
- Hands-on experience with financial reporting tools such as Workiva or Active Disclosure; familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
- Experience with complex transactions including M&A, financing arrangements, capital projects, and multi-entity structures.
- Exceptional technical accounting and writing skills, with the ability to develop clear accounting memos and position papers.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with the judgment to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience in AI, cloud infrastructure, data centers, high-growth technology, or hardware-intensive business models is a plus.
- Exposure to international operations and global accounting environments is advantageous.
- Base salary: $139,600–$174,500 USD, with actual compensation determined by experience, skills, qualifications, level, and geographic location.
- Additional compensation: Potential eligibility for equity and other company-sponsored compensation programs.
- Health coverage: 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and families.
- Retirement: 401(k) plan with up to a 4% company match and immediate vesting.
- Parental leave: 20 weeks paid leave for primary caregivers and 12 weeks for secondary caregivers.
- Remote work support: Up to $85 per month toward mobile and internet expenses.
- Insurance: Company-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance.
- Career development: Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.
