Summary The Pipefitter is responsible for the layout, assembly, installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of piping systems and related components in support of industrial construction, maintenance, turnaround, and capital projects. Work may be performed within refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, manufacturing, LNG, and other heavy industrial environments. The Pipefitter works from construction drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometric drawings, specifications, and work packages to properly fit and assemble piping systems, valves, fittings, supports, and related components. The position requires demonstrated knowledge of industrial piping systems, materials, measurements, layout, and installation practices and the ability to perform assigned work safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, Company procedures, and customer requirements. |
