The purpose of this position is to handle all aspects of the Accounts Payable process. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm

Pay Range: Begins at $20.95 with additional compensation for experience

Requirements:Department Operations
- Review, code, and enter all submitted invoices/receipts/credits to ensure they have been approved by the correct buyer/manager and recorded in QuickBooks; follow-up with managers/buyers for discrepancies.
- Review and reconcile the credit card account. Ensure all transactions have a matching receipt. Follow up with individual card users as necessary.
- Transfer invoices and credit memos from LBMX to QuickBooks using Transaction Pro.
- Review all remittance forms provided by UNFI, KeHe, Albert’s Organics, and AGNE to ensure accuracy. Ensure each invoice and credit has been received and accurately entered into QuickBooks.
- Participate in preparation of annual hard copy files that are to be transferred to external storage facility.
- Provide project assistance as requested from time to time by Bookkeeper or Finance Manager.
Qualifications

- Ability to use any standard office equipment
- Knowledge and experience with QuickBooks Online, Excel, Word and the ability to learn other accounting software.
- Add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Prefer two years accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Accounting/Bookkeeping certificate preferred. Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Due to the specific responsibilities of this job, and to protect the co-op from financial risk, employment is contingent on passing a background and credit check
