Digital Marketing & Guest Ambassador in Kansas City, Missouri at Hotel Phillips

The historic Hotel Phillips is looking for an innovative, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to serve as our Digital Marketing & Guest Ambassador. This individual will create and deliver digital content on social media platforms for The Hotel Phillips, Tavernonna Restaurant, and the PS Speak Easy bar, and other related social media. This position will film, edit, and publish video-based social content with the goal of driving member and prospective member engagement while also following the social media policies of the Hilton Brand.

• Build, design and execute a strong social media content strategy and voice across all platforms (Facebook, Instagram and TikTok)
• Serve as a community manager by engaging fans, followers, prospects, partners and members and assist with fan engagement by responding to customers and prospective customers in real-time on social media

In addition to this, this role will also be catering to our guests, working shifts at the Front Desk where needed, fulfilling front desk tasks where needed, and ensuring guest satisfaction stays at the top of priorities during the shift.

Education:

· High school diploma or GED equivalency required.

Experience:

· 6-12 months related experience and or/training preferred.

· Hotel experience preferred.

Interaction/Skill Set:

· Ability to read and understand English fluently and speak clearly.

· Excellent listening and comprehension skills.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to effectively deal with customers’ complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the guests, and providing positive and proactive solutions, along with interacting positively with guests across all Social Media Platforms.
