This remote role supports pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of specialty prescription medications.
You will help ensure prescriptions are processed accurately while supporting patients and healthcare providers throughout the specialty pharmacy process.
The position combines pharmacy operations, prescription data entry, administrative support, and patient and provider communication.
You may clarify prescriptions with physicians and enter prescription orders into the appropriate systems.
Success in the role requires strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You will work within established policies and quality standards while having flexibility to prioritize tasks and resolve routine issues independently.
The position is full-time, includes structured virtual training, and offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule after training.

• Support pharmacists with specialty prescription medication preparation and dispensing while following established operational procedures and quality standards.
• Process specialty prescriptions and perform related administrative and operational activities accurately and efficiently.
• Contact physicians and other providers when prescription clarification is required and enter prescription orders into the appropriate systems.
• Support patients and pharmacists by following specialty pharmacy processes and programs designed to promote positive health outcomes and medication adherence.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and internal teams to help resolve routine prescription and operational needs.
• Perform required computations, data entry, documentation, and system-based activities with a high level of accuracy.
• Manage multiple or competing priorities while working across multiple computer applications and maintaining productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Exercise appropriate judgment when interpreting department policies and determining how and when to complete assigned work, while escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain a dedicated, interruption-free workspace that protects member PHI and HIPAA-related information.
• Participate in occasional travel to designated offices when required for training or meetings.

• Candidates must reside in Arizona, Florida, or Ohio.
• Active Pharmacy Technician licensure with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of residence is required.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification is required.
• Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician or in inbound and/or outbound phone-based customer support is required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently with several computer applications simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, providers, and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
• Adaptability and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, structured environment.
• Healthcare experience is preferred.
• Call center experience is preferred.
• Must be able to work remotely using a dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect confidential health information.
• Home internet service must provide at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds; wireless, wired cable, or DSL connections are suggested.
• Ability to work a 40-hour weekly schedule. Virtual training begins on the first day and runs for the first few weeks, Monday through Friday, from either 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM Eastern. After training, the standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM EST.

• Full-time remote position for eligible candidates residing in Arizona, Florida, or Ohio.
• Estimated annual base compensation of $40,000–$52,300, depending on geographic location and job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.
