SR COORDINATOR in THOMASVILLE, Georgia at Archbold Medical Center

Maintain confidentiality of the payroll records and integrity of the payroll system

Ensures timely completion and accuracy of biweekly payroll process

Update system for new employees and input changes on current employees in both the Lawson and API systems

Function as an API administrator and provide user training

Update, compute, and monitor employee benefits such as personal time, sick time, etc.

Responsible for review and testing process of Lawson patches which effect payroll; coordinates Lawson changes with Accounting and/or Human Resources as needed

Communicates with Information Systems and/or API, Lawson to resolve system issues

Reconciles payroll liability accounts against the general ledger on a monthly basis for all entities

Answer department heads' inquiries pertaining to their areas in a timely and courteous manner.

Prepares all garnishments, child support and miscellaneous filings on a timely basis

Makes sure badges are made and sent out in a timely matter

Assist Accounting staff as needed on budgets and special projects

Some flexibility on Payroll weeks may be required

Experience/Education:

High school diploma or GED required

Three (3) years of experience in payroll processing or payroll computer systems preferred

Knowledge of payroll and/or payroll systems preferred

Microsoft Excel experience preferred

Attention to detail required
