Accounting Supervisor / Bookkeeper in GEORGIA, Georgia at NorthPoint Search Group

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accounting Supervisor / Bookkeeper with construction accounting experience to join an established and growing commercial construction organization. This position plays an important role in maintaining the financial health of the business and requires hands-on experience with construction draws, job costing, and construction accounting processes. Experience with Timberline (Sage 300) is highly preferred.

• Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Manage and prepare construction draws.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and on schedule.
• Perform job-cost tracking and allocation using Timberline (Sage 300).
• Assist with financial statements, budgets, and management reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.
• Support monthly and year-end financial close processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to accurately track project costs and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Hands-on experience with construction draws required.
• Strong understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles.
• Experience with Timberline (Sage 300) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
