Position Information
The Senior Academic Affairs Analyst is a member of the School of Medicine's Academic Personnel team and provides comprehensive academic personnel support and consultation to faculty, department leadership, and academic administrators. The position independently manages and advises on complex academic appointments, reviews, recruitments, compensation matters, faculty dossiers, visa-related employment issues, and Health Sciences Compensation Plan (HSCP) activities. The incumbent interprets and applies University, campus, School of Medicine, and collective bargaining policies; counsels faculty and academic leadership; identifies and resolves compliance or procedural issues; and coordinates academic personnel actions from initiation through completion. The position also supports academic recruitment and onboarding, maintains personnel data and reports, develops procedures and training, and contributes to process improvements that advance the School of Medicine's academic mission.The salary range for this position is $75,900.00 - $137,300.00 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $106,600.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.This is a hybrid position consisting of three days on-site at the UCR main campus and two days remote.

| Demonstrated skill in operating a personal computer utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet software and for data entry purposes. Proven proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. |
