Position Summary:

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst plays a critical role in the execution and optimization of the accounts receivable function. This position is responsible for managing complex AR activities, supporting collections and dispute resolution, and partnering closely with the AR Manager to improve processes, reporting, and controls. The role requires a detail-oriented, experienced AR professional who can operate independently and serve as a key contributor within the Finance team.


What you will be doing:

  • Own day-to-day AR activities including invoicing, cash application, collections support, and account reconciliations
  • Actively manage customer accounts, following up on overdue balances and escalating risks as appropriate
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and customer inquiries
  • Support the development and enforcement of credit and collection policies
  • Prepare and maintain AR aging reports, variance analyses, and supporting schedules
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close activities related to accounts receivable
  • Ensure AR transactions comply with internal controls, accounting standards, and audit requirements
  • Identify process inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable or a related finance role
  • Strong working knowledge of AR processes, including billing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations
  • Experience working with ERP and accounting systems (D365, QBO, or Xero is a plus)
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivots, lookups, and basic data analysis
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment when handling sensitive customer or financial issues
  • Continuous improvement mindset
