The Receptionist is the first point of contact for Isaiah House, creating a welcoming and professional experience for guests, callers, staff, and visitors. This role supports daily office operations through front desk communication, clerical tasks, and organized service that reflects Isaiah House’s mission.

Additional Information:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Work Environment: On-site
- Travel Requirements: None, rarely if needed
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, answer phones, and use standard office equipment throughout the workday.
- Ability to move throughout the office and perform light lifting as needed to assist guests, staff, and deliveries.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally, as needed, in a standard office setting.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Greet guests, visitors, and staff professionally.
- Answer, screen, and route calls accurately.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or office.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Handle mail, deliveries, visitor access, supplies, and clerical tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using standard office equipment, including printers and fax machines.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and by email.
- Ability to complete basic clerical tasks such as filing, copying, faxing, and organizing supplies.
- Professional attitude, appearance, and customer service approach.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Ability to be resourceful, proactive, and prioritize tasks.
- High school diploma required; office management certification preferred.
