This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Corporate Development Analyst based in the United States.
This role sits at the center of an organization’s inorganic growth strategy, supporting the evaluation and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic investments. The Senior Corporate Development Analyst will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to assess opportunities that shape long-term business direction. You will build and refine complex financial models, translate data into clear investment insights, and support end-to-end transaction execution. The environment is fast-paced and highly analytical, requiring strong ownership, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives. You will also contribute to market intelligence, industry research, and the development of executive-ready materials that inform strategic decisions. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior stakeholders and meaningful impact on corporate strategy.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for M&A, divestiture, and investment opportunities, including valuation, scenario analysis, synergy modeling, and impact assessment.
- Support end-to-end transaction execution, including due diligence, data room management, and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synthesize operational, financial, and strategic inputs into actionable investment insights.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and materials summarizing deal rationale, risks, financial outcomes, and strategic alignment for senior leadership review.
- Conduct industry, competitor, and target company research to support strategic decision-making and opportunity evaluation.
- Maintain and update comparable transaction and trading databases, identifying key market trends and relevant valuation drivers.
- Communicate insights clearly and concisely to project teams and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
- Support continuous improvement of corporate development processes, tools, and analytical frameworks.
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, valuation advisory, or other M&A-related roles.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with solid understanding of M&A processes and transaction dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial insights clearly to senior stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong interest in corporate strategy, markets, and emerging technology trends.
- Experience in telecom or technology sectors is a plus.
- Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Competitive base salary ranging from approximately $84,629 to $124,122, depending on location and experience.
