Job Description
Cheshire Medical Center’s small but mighty Emergency Department features many of the perks of a larger regional hospital, while serving the local community with compassion and quality care. The facility includes 21 beds, a four-bed behavioral health pod, a private OB specialty room, two trauma/resuscitation bays, and the use of telemedicine to consult with other specialists in neurology and emergency medicine. You will experience interdisciplinary teamwork and comradery in this well-equipped ED, as you work side by side with other nurses, techs, health unit coordinators, providers, and associate providers. You will perform as a member of the healthcare team to apply the nursing process when making nursing judgments and decisions specific to assessment, planning, implementation/delivery, and evaluation of patient care, and documenting relevant data and care processes.
Cheshire’s ED serves a diverse population of patients from this rural community, from newborn to end of life, including students from Keene State College. You can expect scheduling flexibility working 12-hour shifts starting at 7am and 7pm, including every other or every third weekend.
Qualifications: Must be a currently licensed Registered Nurse in the State of New Hampshire with a minimum of one year nursing experience preferred. Current certification in BCLS is required. Excellent assessment, communication, interpersonal, and organizational/ time management skills are vital. Must demonstrate the ability to work well as a member of a team and respond calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment and during a crisis and/or emergency. Computer skills required.
Compensation
Minimum Pay: $39.29
Maximum Pay: $55.34
