Job Description
Position: Human Resources Manager
Work Hours: 40 hours per week Must be able to work overtime when required including nights and weekends

Systems Knowledge: SAP, Success Factors, ADP, Compliance
Responsibilities:
Primary
- Develops Company Culture
- Organizational Development
- Employee Relations
- Oversee Employee orientation, development and training
- Oversee Compensation and Benefits Administration
- Oversee Recruiting and Staffing processes
- Employee Service and Counseling
- Compliance to state and Federal Labor Laws
- Coordinate implementation of services, policies and programs through the HR Staff
- Serves as a member of the Management team
- Follow up with managers, team leaders and trainees on the training and development of new hires
- Manage and arrange training with department managers for further development of employees
- Conduct employee reviews and assessments tracking cross training with team leaders
- Review all termination documentation prior to termination
- Conduct exit interviews
- Conduct termination meetings
- Set employee pay rate utilizing the current Wage Table
- Meet with employees to explain their review/ wages
- Assists Team Leaders with 30/60/90’s
- Primary contact for any legal issues related to HR
- Audit all payrolls
- Audit bonus payments prior to entry in payroll
- Direct and manage Human Resources team and their individual responsibilities
- Conduct yearly Sexual Harassment Training and Sign Offs
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
- Conduct prescreening telephone interviews
- Write and send out offer letters
- Perform reference and background checks for potential employees
- Handling employee onboarding
- Conducting employee orientations
- Conduct Phone Screens
Backup
- Responsible for gathering market research on wages in the area
- Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues including internet sources as well as social and professional networking sites
- Correction of manufacturing employee’s time clock error punches as needed
- Retrieve “call in” messages daily that are left on general company mailbox by employees
- Input of vacation, sick, and tardiness time for all HSWoA employees in the Time & Attendance system and into the Management calendar for office employees
- Sort and distribute daily mail to appropriate person/department
- Make transportation arrangements and hotel accommodations for any guests coming to visit HSWoA or assist any Henke employee that needs help with transportation for a trip
- Order lunch for any company meetings (as needed)
- Sets up interviews
- Sending candidate offer letter, start date, and general information
- Uploads candidate into ADP and assigns onboarding
- Schedules training/orientation
- Conducts HR’s portion of onboarding (Presentation)
- Processes necessary paperwork (COE, I9, Signed offer letter)
- Initial application/resume review
- Coordinates in-house interview & assessment
- Updates application tracking spreadsheet
- Updates candidate during the recruiting process
- Benefits administration including 401K and Insurances
- Processes Disability Claims for employees when needed
- Processes FMLA for employees when needed
- Respond to PFML requests
- Benefit termination when applicable
- Invoice employees on leave in timely manner
- Annual Benefit Renewals - Explanation of Benefits
- Annual Benefit Renewals - Collect enrollment forms from employees staying on same coverage or changing insurance plans
- Annual Benefit Renewals – Assist employees with online enrollments
- Annual Benefit Renewals - Collect waiver forms from employees waiving coverage
- Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data
- EEO-1- Annual Submission
- OSHA 300 Log (Yearly) including calling in all Employee Injuries
- Respond to all employment verifications and PFML requests"
- Monthly Personnel reports for HSWoA
- Monthly Hours reports for HSWoA
- Monthly Turnover Reports for HSWoA
- Updates safety eye glass log/ requests reimbursement checks for employees
Team
- Respond to all employee inquires to the HR email inbox
- Planning company events (Christmas Party, HSW Anniversary Party, Company Outings)
Typical Physical Demands:
- The ability to sit, stand, walk for period of times as needed
- Lift, push, pull up to 10 lbs.
- Understand the speech of another person
- Speak clearly so listeners can understand
- See details of objects that are less than a few feet away
Location: Dudley, MA
Training Required: Job Training according to the current Training Plan
Training to continually improve as needed
General Safety Training, GMP Training & OSHA Requirement
