Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is hiring a Sourcing Specialist to join our Materials Management Department in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.

What Your Day Looks Like: Materials Managementeffectively and efficiently manages the acquisition, warehousing, distribution, transportation, and processing of the equipment and supplies required for the smooth operation of the hospital.
As a Sourcing Specialist you will be:

Identifying specifications for equipment in collaboration with facilities and project stakeholders.

Facilitating the procurement process for capital equipment, including quotations, proposals, RFIs, and RFPs, negotiation and execution of purchase orders.

Documenting cost savings and cost avoidance resulting from negotiations and procurement activities.

Collaborating with department leaders to ensure communication of the equipment delivery.

Utilizes GPO contracts and opportunities to optimize equipment and device procurement and participates in the capital budgeting process, including periodic reporting of spend compared to budget.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Preferred Bachelor’s degree or Additional training in the area of accounting, business, or similar field
Experience: Required Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel; Preferred experience: Two years’ experience in supply chain or related field; Healthcare experience beneficial; One year’s experience in analytical role
Skills: strong organizational and analytical skills.
Licensure/Certification: N/A
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
