The hotel embodies a mix of mid-century modern with Parisian eclecticism, all set in a delightful historic building that was once home to Westwood Village's first-ever hotel, dating back to 1939.POSITION PROFILE:The General Manager is the driving force behind Palihotel Westwood Village — leading Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Overnight Operations as one cohesive team, while serving as the property's point of contact for our third-party Food & Beverage partner. You'll balance hands-on execution with financial oversight, driving profitability through disciplined expense management and a relentless focus on the guest experience.THE TASK AT HAND:Hire, train, coach, and develop all team members, holding leaders accountable for operational standards and follow-through.Lead performance management, regular feedback, and formal evaluations across departments.Ensure full compliance with safety, OSHA, and local regulatory requirements; lead the property Safety Committee.Own the guest experience — personalized, consistent hospitality with a focus on strong guest satisfaction scores, including timely responses to reviews and guest recovery efforts.Maintain the property to the highest cleanliness, design, and Eye for Detail standards through regular inspections, using Optii for preventative maintenance tracking.Serve as the property-level liaison with the third-party Food & Beverage operator, collaborating on and executing F&B strategies as needed.Own the property's financial performance — budgets, labor management, margin improvement, and accurate monthly reporting for ownership.Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management to drive RevPAR.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:RequiredMinimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in a hotel environment, preferably boutique or lifestyle.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; calm under pressure.Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to leadership.Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays, as needed.PreferredIntermediate Microsoft Office skills; comfort adapting to new technology and systems.PhysicalAbility to stand, walk, and perform physical duties throughout the day, including lifting up to 40 lbs.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:Competitive compensation package with medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus 401(k).Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay.Career advancement and professional development as we open new hotels and restaurants nationwide.Employee discounts across our entire portfolio (25 hotels and more to come!).
