Job Description
As a Public Safety Supervisor, you will lead the Public Safety Team through daily operation of the park on both operating and non-operating hours to ensure a safe atmosphere for our employees and guests. This position will balance Security/Law Enforcement practices with that of safety including medical response procedures, fire prevention, loss prevention, and incident management.
Requirements:ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee and conduct routine park property patrols for main pathways, back areas, parking lots and buildings both on foot and/or patrol vehicle
- Respond to and handle calls or reports of trespassers or attempted trespassing
- Ensure all property security and fire alarms as well as cameras are fully operational and functioning
- Complete fire prevention system testing on routine basis
- Responsible for maintaining clear and concise logs of all nightly activity and inspections, ensure Public Safety Team receives proper breaks and incident reports are completed
- Always follow and uphold all safety and security procedures
- Respond to Safety incidents, contact EMS and/or administer first aid/CPR as needed
- Adheres to key control policy and procedures according to the set company standards
- Notify appropriate Park leadership of any Security and Safety incidents
- Monitor all dispatch responsibilities (i.e. radio communication, weather, security systems etc.)
- Complete independent projects and assignments
- Source new initiatives, practices, and technologies to be utilized by the Department
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Develop and Train a Team of Officers on Park Policies and Applicable State and Local Laws/Ordinances
- Provide guests, employees, and vendors with safe and secure environment
- Complete assigned tasks from management as needed
- A passion for customer service
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to work both independently and with a group
- Ability to work with large crowds and high-pressure situations
- Physically active and able to stand and walk for full shifts
- Ability to complete all legal, company & department training requirements within established timelines
- Proficiency with computer hardware and software
- Experience in dispatch center and security systems
- Experience in completing Incident Reports
