About the Role
A mid-size plaintiff personal injury law firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing firms’ deposits. This position will work closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations. The Bookkeeper will also manage expense tracking and ensure accurate record-keeping for audits and tax filings. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
You Will:
· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including verifying invoices and issuing payments to vendors in a timely manner.
· Prepare all transactions for bank reconciliations
· Resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise
· Prepare and execute accounts receivable processes, including reviewing client disbursement, posting payment, and issuing all checks
· Process all credit card transactions
· Prepare and process bank deposits
· Process all scans to support digital backing.
You Have:
· Minimum of 2 years previous Bookkeeper experience.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
· Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Microsoft office applications particularly Excel
· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across departments.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information

Salary Range : $75k-$85k per year
The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
