Job Description

About Nclusion
Nclusion is on a mission to provide traditional financial services to 1.5 billion people worldwide without access today. Without a secure way to save, invest, or transfer money, individuals are not empowered to accumulate short or long-term wealth. We're changing that by bridging the gap between traditional banking and the communities that need it most.

About the Role
As a Product Management Intern, you'll help shape and ship the products that power Nclusion's financial platform for underserved customers in emerging markets. You'll be embedded in a single product area and own a real slice of its roadmap under the mentorship of an experienced product manager. Placement spans our full product surface, not only the customer-facing products: from operational platforms and tools to our customer acquisition funnel.

This internship is built for someone who thinks in customers and systems at the same time: curious about why people behave the way they do with money, comfortable using data to make decisions, and technical enough to reason about how the product actually works. You'll partner daily with engineers, designers, operations, and field teams to turn customer and business needs into products that ship.

Our products reach customers through a network of local agents in markets where most people have never held a formal financial account. You'll be based in the US and will build for these customers through research, data, and close collaboration with our in-market field teams; comfort building for a market you won't physically be in is core to the role.

What You’ll Do
  • Own a defined slice of your product line's roadmap under mentorship: define the problem, scope the solution, and see it through to launch.
  • Translate customer, field, and business needs into clear product requirements, specs, and PRDs that engineers and designers can build from.
  • Use data to drive decisions: pull and interpret product metrics, work in our BI tools, define success metrics, and size opportunities before committing to build.
  • Help design, run, and interpret experiments, including A/B and incrementality tests, to validate hypotheses about customer behavior and product changes.
  • Write clear product documentation: PRDs, well-scoped tickets with acceptance criteria, and decision docs that make ownership and tradeoffs explicit.
  • Partner with field operations to understand how agents and customers actually use the product, and turn those insights into product changes.
  • Contribute to user research synthesis, competitive and market analysis, and cross-functional planning.
  • Participate in product reviews, prioritization discussions, and technical conversations with engineering.

What You Bring to the Table
  • Pursuing a degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, computer science, engineering, design, or a related discipline, with graduation expected in 2028.
  • Strong analytical skills and genuine comfort using data to make decisions; fluent in spreadsheets, with some exposure to SQL or BI tools (Metabase, Looker, or similar) preferred.
  • Technical literacy: able to understand how software systems, APIs, and data flow well enough to collaborate with engineers and reason about tradeoffs. You don't need to write production code; you do need to follow the conversation.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication; product management is a writing job.
  • Real curiosity about customer behavior and a bias toward understanding the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Structured problem-solving and the judgment to prioritize when everything feels important.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting in a fast-moving environment.
  • Prior product experience through internships, founding or leading a project or organization, hackathons, research, or shipping something 0 to 1.
  • Interest in fintech, financial inclusion, or emerging markets.
  • Familiarity with product analytics and experimentation: SQL, BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Mixpanel, Amplitude), or A/B testing frameworks.
  • Experience writing PRDs or user stories and working in tools like Linear, Jira, or Notion.
  • Exposure to behavioral economics or consumer psychology; useful context for designing incentives and savings products.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar to accelerate research, synthesis, prototyping, and day-to-day product work.
  • Spanish, French or Haitian Kreyòl a plus, though not required.

Benefits and Perks
  • 💸 Competitive compensation – We believe in sharing success.
  • 🍽️ In-office lunch, team events & culture

Hourly pay: $35-45/hr
