Job Description

Partner Sales Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Partner Sales Director based in Canada.

This role sits at the center of a strategic partner ecosystem, connecting partnerships and sales to turn collaboration into measurable revenue. You will work closely with Account Executives to source, develop, and accelerate partner-influenced opportunities from initial engagement through close. At the same time, you will equip external partners with the tools, knowledge, and joint strategies needed to generate new business. The role combines hands-on deal execution with broader ecosystem planning, including account mapping, territory strategy, and marketplace growth. You will also identify opportunities to strengthen the partner network and influence future investment priorities. This is an opportunity to make a direct commercial impact while helping shape scalable go-to-market motions in an AI-focused environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the partner co-sell motion end to end, working alongside Account Executives to source, develop, and accelerate partner-influenced opportunities through to close.
  • Build and execute joint go-to-market plans, account mapping initiatives, and territory strategies with priority partners across key industry verticals.
  • Equip partners and internal sales teams with the enablement, insights, and resources needed to identify and advance opportunities effectively.
  • Grow marketplace revenue by accelerating joint opportunities and wins through major cloud ecosystems such as AWS and Microsoft.
  • Generate net-new pipeline directly through strategic partner relationships and co-selling activities.
  • Increase partner influence across closed/won business by advising sales representatives on which partners to engage, when to involve them, and how to structure the collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate and actionable partner-related information in Salesforce and other ecosystem tools to ensure opportunities remain visible and trackable.
  • Work cross-functionally with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, and other internal teams to reduce friction around deal registration, pricing, contracting, and partner-supported opportunities.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities within the partner ecosystem and recommend new partnership plays and areas of investment to Partnerships leadership.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, ideally within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated success building and executing co-sell strategies that generate measurable and attributable pipeline and revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM and partner ecosystem technologies, including Salesforce and partner relationship management platforms.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and enablement skills, with the ability to prepare both external partners and internal sales teams to pursue opportunities effectively.
  • Ability to operate comfortably at both the individual-deal level and the broader ecosystem strategy level.
  • Relationship-first approach with the ability to build effective partnerships with external partner representatives and internal Account Executives.
  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to connect partner activity with measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in customer experience, customer support, AI, or automation is a plus.

Benefits:

  • Unlimited vacation to support flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive extended health, dental, vision, travel, and life insurance coverage.
  • Wellness account to support personal wellbeing and lifestyle needs.
  • Employee and family assistance program.
  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Remote-first working environment with the option to work from home or at a local hub.
  • Learning and development budget to support professional growth.
  • Work-from-home budget for remote work equipment and needs.
  • Access to advanced AI tools and technologies.
  • Opportunities to develop hands-on experience working with large language models.
  • Opportunity to work in the rapidly evolving AI industry.
  • Benefits and perks listed above apply to full-time, permanent employees.
  • No salary range was specified in the source job description.
