About This Position
Will be responsible for participation in the resident nutritional care plan process, performing duties such as information gathering, communicating findings to clinical staff and working directly with residents on a one-to-one basis.
Qualifications: Completion of an ACEND-accredited Nutrition and Dietetics Technician program required. Minimum of an Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in nutrition or dietetics, with successful completion of 450 hours of supervised practice in healthcare, foodservice, or community nutrition programs. Certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration’s (CDR) national examination to become a Certified Nutrition and Dietetics Technician (NDTR/DTR). Minimum one year of long term care experience preferred.
Salary - $22-$24 per hour
