Position Summary

Resicum International LLC is seeking an Aircraft Logs and Records Technician to support organizational-level maintenance of KC-130 aircraft assigned to Marine Aircraft Group 12 at MCAS Iwakuni, Japan.

The successful candidate will maintain aircraft and engine logbooks, manage maintenance records, perform data entry and retrieval, and support the accuracy and availability of aircraft maintenance information. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate records and supporting aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks and associated maintenance records.
• Perform data entry, retrieval, and recordkeeping functions associated with aircraft maintenance.
• Maintain and update aircraft maintenance information in applicable electronic systems.
• Perform networking and data management functions between individual stations as required.
• Identify and assist with correction of errors resulting from software, hardware, or data entry issues.
• Extract data and prepare maintenance management reports.
• Create and maintain archives, backups, and data saves in support of deployments and detachment operations.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documentation related to aircraft maintenance.
• Perform database and systems analysis in support of maintenance recordkeeping.
• Ensure maintenance records are maintained in accordance with applicable NAMP requirements and local procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with aircraft maintenance logs, records, or aviation maintenance administration.
• Proficiency in data entry, electronic recordkeeping, and information retrieval.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies in maintenance documentation.
• Strong computer skills and ability to work with databases and electronic information systems.
• Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required installation access credentials and background investigation eligibility.
• Must be able to work the assigned schedule at MCAS Iwakuni.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps aviation maintenance records experience.
• Experience with NALCOMIS/OOMA or comparable military aircraft maintenance information systems.
• Familiarity with aircraft and engine logbooks, maintenance documentation, and deployment records.
• Previous KC-130 or KC-130J maintenance support experience.

Contract Contingency

This position is contingent upon Resicum International LLC receiving the contract award. Employment and anticipated start dates will be dependent upon contract award and the Government-approved transition and performance schedule.
